Honey Mustard Chicken

A sweet and tangy honey mustard chicken recipe featuring tender baked or grilled chicken breasts coated in a rich honey mustard glaze.

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, thyme, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Using a spoon or brush, generously coat both sides of each chicken breast with the honey mustard mixture.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
