Honey Garlic Sausage

  • 1.5 pound Pork sausage any kind you prefer
  • 0.25 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce low sodium is recommended
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional, for a little heat
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • If using links of sausage, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sausage pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the sausage in the skillet.
  • Stir to coat the sausage evenly and let it simmer for about 5-8 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and the sausage is cooked through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
