Honey Beer Bread

This is a quick and easy honey beer bread recipe that requires no yeast and is ready in under an hour!

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 ounces beer, at room temperature

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • Stir in the honey and beer until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

This bread is delicious served warm with butter or as a side to your favorite meal.
