: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup oat flour gluten-free if needed
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 1/2 tablespoons nut or seed butter
- 2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
Combine the nut or seed butter and maple syrup in a bowl until smooth.
Add the oat flour and cocoa powder, then knead until a cohesive dough forms.
If necessary, adjust the dough with a very small amount of oat flour or maple syrup until it is firm but workable.
Heat the oven to 320°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide the dough into four pieces and roll each piece into a rope about 1 inch thick.
Cut the ropes into 1/2- to 3/4-inch pieces and roll each piece into a small ball, making about 120 to 140 puffs.
Bake for about 10 minutes, then cool completely so the cereal becomes crisp.
