Hamburger Tater Tot Casserole

This delicious hamburger tater tot casserole combines savory flavors with a crispy top.

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef lean
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots 32 oz

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Mix the cooked beef with cream of mushroom soup and spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
  • Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For a variation, try adding chopped onions or bell peppers to the beef mixture.
