  • 1 cup rice cooked and cooled
  • 0.5 cup cubed ham smoked for extra flavor
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 pieces eggs lightly beaten

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add eggs and scramble until just set. Remove and set aside.
  • Add ham and peas to the skillet, sauté for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the rice, soy sauce, and scrambled eggs.
  • Cook and stir for 5 minutes until heated through.

Notes

Adjust soy sauce to taste. Perfect with a side of chili sauce.
