Ham and Cheese Croissant

A quick and easy recipe for a delicious ham and cheese croissant, perfect for breakfast or a light snack.

  • 2 large croissants
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  • Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the inside of each croissant half.

  • Layer two slices of ham and two slices of Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.

  • Place the top half of each croissant back on.
  • Wrap each assembled croissant loosely in aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissant is warmed through.
  • Carefully remove from foil and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can add a thin spread of Dijon mustard before the ham and cheese.
