  • 1 cup Cooked Rice White or brown
  • 0.5 cup Soy Sauce Low sodium
  • 0.25 cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Ginger Ground
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the ground beef and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve the ground beef teriyaki over cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions, if desired.

Notes

Optional: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
