Ground Beef and Broccoli Casserole

This delicious and comforting casserole combines ground beef, fresh broccoli, and cheddar cheese for a satisfying meal.

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef lean
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, broccoli florets, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake.
