  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms optional
  • 1 package Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions for topping

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook green beans for 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, combine Velveeta, cream of mushroom soup, and milk over medium heat, stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Mix green beans, mushrooms, and cheese sauce in a casserole dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Top with crispy fried onions and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
