Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook green beans for 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine Velveeta, cream of mushroom soup, and milk over medium heat, stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Mix green beans, mushrooms, and cheese sauce in a casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes. Top with crispy fried onions and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
