Green Bean Casserole

- 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can French-fried onions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain well.
In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
Add the drained green beans to the soup mixture and stir gently to coat.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the top evenly with French-fried onions.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the onions are golden brown.
