  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • 1 sleeve Graham Crackers Whole
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts Optional, such as pecans or walnuts

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13x9 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, breaking them as needed to fill the space.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Pour butter mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand for a few minutes to soften, then spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
  • Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. You can also add a pinch of sea salt on top for a sweet and salty treat.
