  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before frosting.

These brownies are best served at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
