Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before frosting.
