Ingredients
  

Apple Filling

  • 6 medium Apples Peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 0.75 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cup Rolled Oats
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Cold Butter Cut into cubes

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together gluten-free flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and cold butter. Use a pastry blender or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour the apple mixture into a 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger to the apple filling. You can also use different types of apples, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, depending on your preference.
