Garlic Seared Scallops

  • 1 pound Scallops
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Pat scallops dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Stir in lemon juice and serve immediately.

Serve with a side of rice or pasta.
