Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

Quick and easy garlic parmesan shrimp recipe. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 cup white wine optional
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon parsley chopped fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  • Pour in white wine (if using) and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Stir in fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

This shrimp dish is fantastic served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for dipping.
