Garlic Butter Pork Chops

Juicy and flavorful pork chops pan-seared and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

  • 4 bone-in pork chops Pork Chops about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove pork chops from the skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  • Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chops. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C).
  • Stir in fresh chopped parsley. Serve the pork chops immediately with the garlic butter sauce poured over them.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
