A simple and flavorful garlic butter chicken recipe featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place flour in a shallow dish and dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off excess.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over each piece. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through.
Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with the garlic butter sauce spooned over the chicken.
