Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 count boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Place flour in a shallow dish and dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over each piece. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through.
  • Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with the garlic butter sauce spooned over the chicken.
