Ingredients
- 8 boneless pork chops
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 oz packet onion soup mix
- 0.87 oz packet brown gravy mix
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 8 slices provolone or Swiss cheese
- 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the baking dish.
Whisk the sour cream, onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, and thyme together in a bowl.
Spoon the sour cream mixture over the pork chops and spread it evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the dish and top each chop with cheese, crispy fried onions, and the remaining thyme.
Return the dish to the oven for about 20 minutes, until the cheese melts, the onions brown lightly, and the pork reaches at least 145°F internally.
Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
