Egg Roll in a Bowl

A quick and easy deconstructed egg roll recipe perfect for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground pork Can substitute ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 bag Coleslaw mix
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet or wok, brown the ground pork over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the sesame oil, coleslaw mix, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, ginger, and garlic to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the coleslaw mix is tender-crisp. Stir occasionally.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions, if desired.
