Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place chicken chunks in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix together diced green chiles, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker and stir gently to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
Shred the chicken with two forks if desired, and serve warm. Garnish with fresh cilantro if using.
Notes
Perfect served over rice or with warm tortillas. This recipe can be made ahead and reheated.
