Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt until smooth.
Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading evenly.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack, about 2 hours.
While the pie cools, prepare the whipped cream: In a chilled bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Once the pie is cooled, top with whipped cream before serving.
Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature.
