Preparation Steps
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a handheld mixer on medium-low for 1 to 1.5 minutes until smooth.
Add the sour cream, dry ranch dressing mix, and fresh cracked black pepper. Mix on medium speed until well incorporated.
Lower mixer speed to low and fold in 1.5 cups shredded cheddar, 0.5 cup crumbled bacon, and 0.25 cup sliced green onions until just combined.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for 1 hour to chill and set.
Before serving, sprinkle the top with remaining shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions. Enjoy with crackers or fresh veggies.
