Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine cooked egg noodles, chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken. You can also add a sprinkle of paprika to the top before baking.
