Doritos Chicken

A flavorful and crispy chicken dish coated in crushed Doritos, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Chicken Breasts
  • 1 bag (9 oz) Doritos (any flavor) crushed
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Eggs beaten
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or coat it with cooking spray.
  • If the chicken breasts are thick, pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the crushed Doritos, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In another shallow dish, whisk the eggs.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it generously with the Doritos mixture, pressing to adhere.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil or spray with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, a salad, or steamed vegetables.
