Dill Pickle Dip for Easy Party Snacking

This creamy dill pickle dip balances tangy pickle flavor with cheddar, red onion, and softened cream cheese. It is a make-ahead appetizer for crackers and pretzel chips.

  • 1/2 cup pickle juice from dill pickles
  • 3 cups dill pickles chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • as needed dippers pretzel chips, crackers, or melba toast, for serving

  • Add the softened cream cheese and pickle juice to a large bowl. Mix on low speed with an electric mixer until smooth and combined.
  • Add the chopped dill pickles, shredded cheddar, and diced red onion. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 3 days.
  • Stir before serving with pretzel chips, crackers, melba toast, or another sturdy dipper.
