This Croissant Bread Pudding is a delightful fusion of flaky croissants and rich custard, baked to perfection.

  • 6 large croissants preferably a day old
  • 4 cups milk whole milk recommended
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs large
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract pure

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Tear the croissants into large pieces and place them in a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the custard mixture over the croissants, pressing down to ensure they are fully soaked.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
