Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cumin to create a dry rub.
Pat the brisket dry with paper towels, then rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the meat.
Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
Place the seasoned brisket on top of the onions, fat side up.
Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the brisket.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the brisket is fork-tender.
Remove brisket from the crockpot and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Serve with onions from the crockpot and optional pan juices.

For best results, choose a well-marbled brisket and do not skip the resting period—it ensures maximum tenderness.
