Make a hearty crock pot tater tot egg bake with crispy tots, ham, onions, cheddar, and Parmesan for an easy overnight breakfast casserole.
Servings: 8
Adjust the serving amount to scale the ingredient list. Written quantities in the steps refer to the original recipe; adjust them in the same proportion. Timing may vary with batch size.
Grease a 5-quart or larger slow cooker. Layer one-third of the tater tots, Canadian bacon or ham, onions, and cheeses; repeat twice, ending with cheese.
Whisk the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, then pour the mixture over the layers in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours, until the eggs are set in the center.
Notes
For food safety, cook until the egg center is fully set and steaming hot.
