This slow-cooked casserole combines the hearty flavors of hamburger and potatoes for a comforting meal.

  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 4 cups diced potatoes peeled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.75 ounces

Preparation Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Layer the potatoes, browned ground beef, and cheese in the Crock-Pot.
  • Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
