Crock-Pot Cube Steak

A delicious and easy recipe for tender cube steak cooked slowly in a Crock-Pot, bringing out a rich and savory flavor.

  • 2 lbs beef cube steak cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Place the cube steak pieces in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, water, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the cube steak evenly.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until the steak is tender.
  • Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir it into the sauce before serving. Let it cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
