  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Place the beaten egg in a shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip each pork chop into the egg, letting excess drip away, then press firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture so both sides are evenly coated.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the chops in a single layer with space between them, then lightly spray the tops.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6 to 8 minutes. Carefully flip and cook for 5 to 7 minutes more, until the crust is golden and the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Transfer the pork chops to a plate and rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
