  • 1 pound chicken breast boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 pound pasta any shape you like
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Preparation Steps

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
