  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef preferred
  • 1 package Egg Noodles 12 oz package
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup 10.75 oz can
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture. You can also add vegetables like chopped onions or bell peppers to the beef while browning.
