Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture. You can also add vegetables like chopped onions or bell peppers to the beef while browning.
