Creamy Beef and Shells

  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 8 ounces pasta shells
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Add cooked pasta shells to the skillet, tossing to coat, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the beef.
