Instructions
Preparation Steps
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add corn kernels, heavy cream, sugar, salt, and pepper to the saucepan.
Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the corn is tender and the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg. If using frozen corn, thaw it slightly before cooking.
