Cream of Mushroom Pork Chops

  • 4 pieces pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms fresh or canned
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 cup water

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Brown pork chops on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, water, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Add the soup mixture and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use fresh mushrooms and add a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
