Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Chopped onion
  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in chicken broth, shredded chicken, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until heated through.

Notes
