On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, layer the brie cheese.
Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the brie cheese.
Top with the remaining two slices of bread, buttered side up.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the brie is melted and gooey.
Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
For an extra kick, you can add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cranberry sauce.
