  • 1 cup cornflakes, crushed plus extra for topping
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed cornflakes, beaten egg, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish. Sprinkle extra crushed cornflakes on top for a crunchy crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can serve this meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
