Cooking Couscous

A simple recipe for perfectly cooked couscous.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Couscous
  • 1.25 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Combine couscous, water, and salt in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
  • Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Fluff with a fork and stir in butter.

Serve hot as a side dish.
