Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Notes
For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them. For crispier cookies, bake for a couple of minutes longer.
