  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 2.5 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup M&Ms holiday colors
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
  • Mix in peanut butter. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  • Stir in oats, M&Ms, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on wire racks.

Notes

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
