  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 9-inch pie crust unbaked

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the pecan halves and chocolate chips evenly in the pie crust.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the pecans and chocolate chips in the pie crust.
  • Bake for 60 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
