Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating just until combined.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For crispier cookies, bake on the longer side. For chewier cookies, bake for a shorter time.
