Chilli Garlic Noodles

A quick and flavorful dish of noodles tossed in a spicy and garlicky sauce.

  • 0.25 lb Noodles (e.g., spaghetti or ramen)
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and chili flakes. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Add cooked noodles to the skillet. Pour in soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper.
  • Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

This recipe is easily customizable. You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli, or protein like chicken or shrimp.
