Chicken Noodle Casserole

A comforting and classic chicken noodle casserole packed with flavor.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 12 oz egg noodles uncooked
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms optional
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix together chicken, cooked noodles, peas, mushrooms, soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute cooked turkey for chicken or add some extra vegetables to your taste.
