  • 2 cups shredded hashbrowns
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts cooked and shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Stir in shredded chicken and hashbrowns until well coated.
  • Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, sprinkle crushed cornflakes on top before baking.
