Preparation Steps
Butterfly the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
Place a slice of ham and two slices of cheese on each chicken breast.
Fold the chicken over the filling and secure with toothpicks.
Dredge the chicken in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the chicken on all sides.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
