Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

A comforting and easy casserole that brings together classic Chicken Cordon Bleu flavors in a simple, bake-ahead dish.

  • 0.567 kg boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.15 kg cooked ham diced
  • 0.15 kg Swiss cheese shredded
  • 0.15 kg cream of chicken soup condensed
  • 0.12 L milk
  • 0.1 kg sour cream
  • 0.075 L butter melted
  • 0.1 kg breadcrumbs plain

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, diced ham, shredded Swiss cheese, condensed cream of chicken soup, milk, and sour cream. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  • Let the casserole stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole is perfect for a weeknight dinner and can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready. Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
